Support

As we’re taught as individual Christians to share with others, we believe we do well to share with others as a church, too. MoSt Church contributes financially to a variety of Christian ministries.

Since we’re located near the world’s largest medical complex, the Texas Medical Center in Houston, we consider it a privilege to assist Lifeline Chaplaincy, a ministry committed to providing compassionate support to the seriously ill, their family members and caregivers, and to being an educational resource for crisis ministry at the Texas Medical Center.

Families are under tremendous strain today and children are typically the most vulnerable when families fly apart. We’re dedicated to the assistance of some of the neediest of these children in two specific ways. The first is through participation with Spaulding for Children in Houston, TX in the adoption and placement of children. The second is through financial and prayer support for four childrens’ home: (1) the Boles Home in Quinlan, TX, (2) Foster’s Home for Children in Stephenville, TX, (3) Medina Home in Medina, TX and (4) the Tipton Home in Tipton, OK.

Entrusted with the greatest message in the world for humankind – the gospel of Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior – we are committed to the aid of a variety of ministries that work toward the spread of this good news. Close to home, we are involved with the Impact Houston Church of Christ, an inner city church which reaches out to the poor and homeless. We are bound together with the Roberto Hernandez family, a former member of MoSt in years past, and his ministry in Eagle Pass, TX and various parts of Mexico. The Gladwyn Kiddoe family and the Jamaica School of Preaching receive our blessing as they share the gospel and train additional ministers of the good news. And on the other side of the globe, the Kyle & Susan Bratcher family in Hildesheim, Germany and the Dale Dennis family in Tanzania are recipients of our prayers and contributions as well.

Aging is seen more and more in our society as a “problem” rather than a plus. Consequently, neglect of the elderly is on the rise. Ageism is not Christ’s way so MoSt Church has determined to help ministries such as the Christian Care Center in Mesquite, TX, a center dedicated to the blessing, care and respect of seniors in need.
