Mom2Mom

Tuesday, February 6, 2007 - Leave a Response

Dianna Marshall is beginning a group for young mothers called Mom2Mom. The plan is to let the kiddos play and just enjoy each other as their mothers study and get to know each other better. The first meeting is at 11:00 a.m. this Thur., Feb. 8, at Dianna’s house. Mothers, bring a sack lunch. For more information, contact Dianna.

DVDevo

Monday, February 5, 2007 - Leave a Response

DVDevo is this coming Sat., Feb. 10 at 7:00 p.m. here at MoSt in our Annex.

What is DVDevo? Think of it as “movie night” with a devotional following. The movie that will be shown (at no cost) is Facing the Giants. What is this movie about? It’s about  overcoming obstacles, keeping your faith in God, giving God everything you have, and loving him through all circumstances. There will also be a movie going for the young ones in one of our smaller Annex classrooms.

Bring your favorite snacks and drinks and enjoy an evening of Christian fellowship!

In our Annex tonight

Wednesday, January 31, 2007 - Leave a Response

Our regular Wednesday night “auditorium class” that meets at 7:00 p.m. each week will meet tonight, but not in the auditorium. Instead, we’ll meet tonight in our Annex’s “Big Room” as we continue our study of the book of Revelation. This will be very convenient: (1) we’ll be able to share the meal together (5:15-6:30 p.m.), (2) be a part of the get-together to bid Godspeed to Jorge & Windi Hernandez (6:00 p.m.) [don’t forget to bring something for the money tree] and (3) then be a part of the class on Revelation (7:00 p.m.) all in the same building/room. Here’s how it looks tonight:

  • Men’s class – meeting in one of the small classrooms in our Annex.
  • Ladies class – meeting in one of the small classrooms in our Annex.
  • Class on Revelation – meeting in our Annex’s “Big Room,” not our auditorium.
  • No class will meet in the auditorium itself tonight, though the children’s classes and nursery will continue as always in the rooms surrounding our auditorium.
  • All other class locations remain unchanged.
